Clean the slate

God will accept and forgive your mistakes in the privacy of the confession box. Offer your sins to Him and wash them away through penance.

Our Lord, in the flesh

Join us at Holy Family to partake in the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Our Lord during the celebration of Mass. If you're preparing to receive the Eucharist for the first time, please contact us to begin the arrangements.

Mass times

Arranging a funeral Mass

Funerals are booked through your chosen Funeral Director. Once a date is agreed, we will invite you and your family in to talk to one of our priests to plan the funeral. If you need any support or guidance when you've lost a loved one, please call our office and we will be happy to help you.

Arranging first Holy Communion

Our First Holy Communion Programme runs from September to May each year. Preparation Classes are every fourth Sunday of the Month at 10.15am at Sacred Heart Church with the 11.3am Mass to follow. First Holy Communions then take place in May and June at each of our churches. If you would like your child to make their First Holy Communion with us, please complete the attached form and send it by email to the parish.

Applications for Confirmation

Confirmations take place in our parishes once every 2 years. Applications for Confirmation 2026 are now open and should be sent to the church before the end of August 2025 where possible. For more information and to apply, please see the document attached. If you wish to be Confirmed or for your child to be confirmed, please complete the form and email it to the parish.

Arranging a wedding

If you wish to be married at one of our churches, please email the parish office or call on 0116 2511437 to make an appointment to meet with one of our priests or our deacon. You will need to have a meeting with us before we can book a date for you.
